Celebrating Integrity: Tripura CM Manik Saha Praises Govt Officers for Championing Transparency and Corruption-Free Governance
On December 25, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha lauded state government officials for their critical role in fostering a corruption-free administration, which he hailed as a model of good governance. Speaking at a Good Governance Day event at Pragna Bhavan, Saha stressed that transparency is fundamental to maintaining public trust. He urged officials to prioritize the welfare of the state’s citizens.
Saha spotlighted the ‘Amar Sarkar’ initiative, aimed at addressing local development challenges, and highlighted the significance of engaging Tripura’s youth, who make up about 60% of the state’s population, to bolster progress.
Addressing the state’s development under his leadership since 2018, Saha revealed his efforts to raise national awareness about Tripura’s achievements during a recent visit to Haryana. He underscored that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s vision of uplifting the marginalized, inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, is being advanced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister further emphasized that Tripura’s governance aligns with national goals, particularly focusing on rural development. He noted the need to communicate the state’s progress and scheme implementation to the central government, describing this as a hallmark of good governance.
Additionally, Saha announced the state’s success in achieving 100 percent saturation in numerous government schemes, reinforcing Tripura’s commitment to transparency and effective governance.
