Unlock Bliss: Amit Shah’s Powerful Chanakya Quote on Dharma for National Happiness
Amit Shah Emphasizes Duty as Key to Nation’s Prosperity and Peace
AGARTALA: Union Home Minister Amit Shah underscored the significance of ‘Dharma’ as a moral duty during his address at the North East Bankers Conclave 2.0 in Agartala, Tripura. Citing the ancient Chanakya Sutra, Shah emphasized that nations thrive in peace and happiness only when citizens fulfill their duties, distinguishing ‘Dharma’ from religious connotations.
Shah reiterated the importance of addressing the economic needs of India’s 140 crore population to envision a truly developed nation. He stated, "A developed country’s essence lies in every individual’s ability to meet basic needs and contribute to national growth."
Highlighting economic initiatives, Shah noted a burgeoning "robust ecosystem" for commerce and industry in the Northeast, crucial for India’s overall development. "Without economic connectivity and growth in the Northeast, India cannot progress towards becoming a ‘Viksit Rashtriya’—a developed nation," he declared.
Looking ahead, Shah set a vision for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’, aspiring for India to achieve full development by its hundredth Independence anniversary. He urged collective efforts toward national progress, asserting, "On August 15, 2047, we aim for India to lead in all aspects, marking it as a completely developed nation."
Additionally, Shah is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the BJP headquarters in Tripura on December 22.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen both economic and political infrastructure vital for India’s ambitious development trajectory.
