Empowering Innovation: Arunachal Minister Dasanglu Pul Shines at India International Science Festival 2024 in IIT Guwahati
Dasanglu Pul, the only woman minister in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pema Khandu-led government, recently attended the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2024 hosted at IIT Guwahati. Pul, who manages the Science & Technology and Women & Child Development portfolios, joined notable figures such as Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in highlighting the transformative impact of science and innovation.
The festival operated under the theme “Transforming India Into a Science and Technology Driven Global Manufacturing Hub.” Its focus was on showcasing how innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship can propel India’s ambition to become a global manufacturing leader.
The event featured a lineup of distinguished participants, including Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of Earth Sciences & Technology, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam, Keshab Mahanta, Assam Minister for Science & Technology, Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Secretary, DSIR and DG, CSIR, Dr. V. K. Saraswat, a member of NITI Aayog, and Prof. A. K. Sood, Hon’ble PSA to the Government of India and Patron of IISF 2024.
IISF 2024 served as a lively platform where innovators, technologists, and entrepreneurs convened to exchange ideas aimed at fostering a sustainable, technology-driven economy. Through inspiring sessions, interactive exhibits, and engaging discussions, the festival underscored the critical role of science and technology in shaping India’s future.
