Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Meghalaya encountered early setbacks, with their top order struggling to establish firm partnerships. Openers Shubham Rasaily and Manthan Dey managed to survive the initial 10 overs but quickly fell alongside others as wickets tumbled at regular intervals. Kshitij Singhania offered some resilience with a patient 22 off 48 deliveries before his eventual dismissal.
