The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced the exam schedule for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) board exams for 2025. Students can access and download the detailed timetable from the official website, site.sebaonline.org. The schedule includes both practical and theory exams.
Practical exams are slated for January 21st and 22nd. On January 21st, morning sessions will include computer science, commerce, and home science, while afternoon exams will cover weaving and textile design, IT/ITeS, and fine arts. The following day, January 22nd, the morning exams will feature music, dance, woodcraft, garment designing, and yoga and physical education. The afternoon will be reserved for vocational subjects like retail trade, private security, and healthcare.
The theory exams are scheduled for February and March. Beginning on February 15th, students will take English exams in the morning. On February 17th, MIL/English exams are planned for the afternoon. February 21st will focus on general mathematics in the morning, followed by various vocational subjects the next day. On February 22nd, morning exams will include subjects like retail trade and healthcare, and the afternoon will feature music and dance. General science is scheduled for the morning of February 24th, with fine art and weaving/textile design in the morning and afternoon of February 25th, respectively. Social science will be examined on February 27th, regional languages on February 28th, and Santali on March 1st. The last scheduled exams, on March 3rd, will cover geography, advanced mathematics, computer science, and others.
Students are advised that they will have an additional 5-minute window before each session: from 8:55 am to 9:00 am for morning exams and from 1:25 pm to 1:30 pm for the afternoon slots. For elective and in lieu languages, the assessment will involve common question papers split into Group A and Group B, tailored to the specific language offered.
