The film opened with an overall 7.44% occupancy for Hindi screenings on its first day, highlighting a somewhat lukewarm reception from audiences.

Produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, "I Want To Talk" delves into the intricacies of mortality and personal relationships. The story centers around Abhishek Bachchan’s character, Arjun, who is about to undergo life-altering surgery while navigating a complex relationship with his daughter. The cast also features Johny Lever, Ahilya Bamroo, Banita Sandhu, and Pearle Maaney, adding depth and dimension to this engaging narrative.

Abhishek Bachchan’s performance as Arjun received praise, notably using his real-life demeanor to deliver witty and engaging dialogue. However, the film struggled with pacing issues.
