Exciting Boost: Modi’s Energizing Jharkhand Visit on November 10 to Supercharge BJP Campaign with Himanta Biswa Sarma
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to revisit Jharkhand on November 10, as announced by Assam Chief Minister and BJP co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma. This follows Modi’s attendance at rallies in Chaibasa and Garhwa earlier in the week, where he addressed a significant crowd.
Sarma highlighted the importance of Modi’s visit, noting, “Today, PM Modi held two historic meetings, and the overwhelming enthusiasm suggests the NDA and BJP are poised to form the government.” Plans for Modi’s visit include potential public meetings in Bokaro and Ranchi, with a possible roadshow in Ranchi.
Owing to the Chatth Puja festivities, Sarma mentioned that activities might decrease on November 6 and 7, but predicted an intense schedule of meetings and roadshows on November 8 through 11. “Our objective is to maximize outreach in the constituencies ahead of the first phase of the Assembly polls,” Sarma remarked.
During the earlier rallies, Modi criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for their lack of respect toward former Chief Minister Champai Soren, accusing them of failing to support tribal leaders. He argued that political parties that place family interests above public good should face scrutiny.
Expressing confidence that the BJP would regain power in Jharkhand, Modi stated, “Kolhan is ready to oust the tyrannical JMM-Congress-RJD government. I am assured that BJP-NDA will form the government with more seats than ever before.”
The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with the results expected to be announced on November 23.
