Overwhelming Response: Create in India Challenge Surpasses 10,000 Enthusiastic Registrations!
The Create in India Challenge (CIC) – Season 1 is gaining significant traction as it approaches the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES), announced the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ministry revealed that the CIC has already attracted over 10,000 registrations nationwide, reflecting its growing influence in the creative sector.
This initiative aims to make a substantial impact on India’s Creators’ Economy by empowering content creators and innovators to display their talents, monetize their skills, and contribute to the expansion of the Indian media and entertainment landscape. The CIC not only strengthens India’s soft power on the international stage but also serves as a springboard for the country’s burgeoning creative talent, paving the way for global recognition.
To further drive engagement, the Ministry is launching an extensive outreach campaign encompassing social media collaborations and roadshows within India and internationally, including the United States, South Korea, and Japan. Interested participants can register for all challenges via the official WAVES website.
Scheduled for February next year, WAVES will serve as a crucial platform for fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation within the media and entertainment sectors. The summit will gather industry leaders, stakeholders, and innovators to discuss opportunities and challenges, promote trade with India, and shape the industry’s future.
The CIC and the upcoming WAVES event underscore the ministry’s commitment to nurturing creative talent and reinforcing India’s position as a key player in the global media and entertainment industry.
