Shocking: Reckless Driver Endangers Lives by Dragging 2 Traffic Policemen on Car Bonnet
In a shocking incident in south-west Delhi’s Kishangarh, two traffic police officers were injured after being hit and dragged for about 20 meters by a car driven by an unruly motorist on Saturday night. The officers, identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Pramod and Head Constable Sailesh Chouhan, were issuing challans for traffic violations when a vehicle ran a red light around 7:45 p.m. Despite being signaled to stop, the driver attempted to flee, causing both officers to be dragged on the bonnet. The driver eventually fled the scene. Both officers sustained minor injuries. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Surendra Choudhury confirmed a case of attempt to murder has been registered, and a search for the suspect is underway. Two videos of the incident have emerged on social media, depicting the officers clinging to the car, with one falling to the ground when the driver abruptly braked. The footage adds to the urgency of apprehending the suspect.
