The top prize in these lotteries can reach Rs 1 crore, inclusive of the Super Prize. Tickets for the daily lotteries—Dear Morning, Dear Day, and Dear Evening—are sold for Rs 6 each.
The Director of Nagaland State Lotteries manages the lottery draws, held at P. R. Hill Junction in Kohima. To claim a prize, winners must ensure their tickets are intact and accompanied by a completed lottery claim form, government-approved photo ID, and passport-sized photographs. Tickets with any signs of tampering or damage are automatically void.
Distributors, stockists, agents, or sellers have the authority to distribute winnings up to ₹10,000 on behalf of the State Government. Winners with claims above ₹10,000 must submit their original tickets, duly signed, along with necessary documentation within 30 days of the draw date to the Director, Government of Nagaland, or a Nodal Office in the respective state. Payments are processed within 60 days.
