IndiGo Airlines has expanded its network by launching a new flight route connecting Dibrugarh and Bengaluru, with a stop in Agartala. Flight 6E 524 departs from Bengaluru at 9:45 am and lands in Dibrugarh at 2:20 pm after a layover in Agartala. The return flight, 6E 525, leaves Dibrugarh at 3:00 pm and arrives in Bengaluru at 7:55 pm, also passing through Agartala.
The inaugural flight’s touchdown at Dibrugarh airport was celebrated with a ceremonial water cannon salute, symbolizing the region’s growing access to air travel. The introduction of this service offers residents of Upper Assam a streamlined travel option directly to Bengaluru, bypassing the need to travel to Guwahati for connecting flights. This connectivity boost is particularly beneficial for those traveling to Bengaluru, known as India’s high-tech hub.
