Crucial Countdown: Last Chance for Nominations in Jharkhand Assembly Polls Ends Tonight!

The nomination process for the second phase of Jharkhand’s assembly elections concludes today. On November 20th, voters in 38 constituencies will head to the polls. A total of 632 candidates have submitted their nominations so far. These submissions will be scrutinized on October 30th, and the deadline for candidates to withdraw their nominations is November 1st.

In a parallel development, authorities have seized illegal items and cash totaling over 86 crore 32 lakh rupees across various locations in the state since the election announcement. As a result, 20 FIRs have been registered for breaches of the model code of conduct. The election preparations underscore the state’s efforts to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process, amid heightened vigilance and adherence to regulations.
