Empowering Unity: PM Modi Inspires Civil Servants for National Learning Week to Achieve National Goals
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Karmayogi Saptah’—National Learning Week at New Delhi’s Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. In his address, he highlighted Mission Karmayogi’s objective of transforming government human resources into a catalyst for India’s development. Modi emphasized the importance of innovative thinking and a citizen-centric approach, urging civil servants to stay updated with the latest technology and collaborate with startups and research agencies.
He remarked that the evolution within the government over the past decade has positively impacted citizens, largely due to initiatives like Mission Karmayogi. Modi discussed the dual nature of AI, identifying it as both artificial intelligence and aspirational India, and stressed the importance of harnessing AI to elevate aspirations across the nation.
Acknowledging digital learning efforts, the Prime Minister praised the iGOT platform where over 40 lakh government employees have registered, with 1,400 courses available and the issuance of more than 1.5 crore certificates. Launched in September 2020, Mission Karmayogi aims to develop a future-ready civil service, aligning with national goals and fostering lifelong learning. National Learning Week is intended to enhance organizational and individual capacities, reinforcing a unified government approach towards achieving ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
