Shocking Scandal: AIIMS Chief Security Officer Accused of Harassment and Casteist Slurs Sparks Outrage

A security guard at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has levelled serious allegations against the institute’s chief security officer, accusing him of harassment and using casteist slurs. The complaint was officially lodged on October 3, prompting AIIMS to initiate an investigation into these claims. As per a memorandum released on October 15, the investigation will be spearheaded by K.K. Verma, who chairs the committee responsible for addressing grievances related to SC/ST/OBC, alongside Punit Kaur, head of the Internal Complaints Committee on sexual harassment. Both committees have been tasked with submitting preliminary reports, complete with evidence, within a week of the memorandum’s date. AIIMS authorities have so far declined to comment on the ongoing issue, pending the outcome of the investigation.
