Outrage Unleashed: BJP Demands Justice with Abetment Charges Against Kannur Panchayat President

BJP State General Secretary M.T. Ramesh has criticized the Kerala State government’s reaction to the death of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) K. Naveen Babu, calling it “inhumane.” In a press briefing held in Kozhikode, Mr. Ramesh demanded that Kannur district panchayat president, P.P. Divya, be charged with abetment of suicide, alleging her actions contributed to the tragic incident. He accused the CPI(M) leadership and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of shielding Ms. Divya and demanded clarity on her controversial involvement in granting permission for a petrol pump. Mr. Ramesh urged the CPI(M) to reevaluate Ms. Divya’s position should she be found culpable. The BJP leader’s remarks emphasize growing political tension and calls for accountability in the wake of the ADM’s death.
