Two of the three suspects, Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap, have been apprehended, while the third, Shivkumar Gautam, is still at large. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch revealed that Gautam, appointed as the “main shooter” due to his prior experience with firearms during celebratory shootings in his hometown of Bahraich, was responsible for training Singh and Kashyap. The shooters practiced without bullets at their Kurla residence before honing their skills by watching YouTube videos. To evade surveillance, they communicated through social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat, according to police authorities.
