Exciting Expansion: Google’s Revolutionary Circle to Search Rolls Out to More Smartphones, Including China’s HONOR | Breaking Tech News
Chinese smartphone brand HONOR has revealed that Google’s innovative gesture-driven feature, Circle to Search, will be available on its Magic V3 foldable smartphone and the HONOR 200 series. This feature aims to provide users with a seamless and intuitive search experience. With the introduction of Circle to Search, HONOR’s 200 series becomes one of the first non-Samsung or Google mobiles in India to offer this functionality. Currently launched in various regions, the Magic V3 is yet to debut in India.
Similarly, Xiaomi’s 14T smartphone, which also supports Circle to Search, is anticipated to enter the Indian market by year-end. Furthermore, Tecno has announced that its upcoming Phantom V Fold 2 will also feature this visual search capability.
Initially introduced with Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, Circle to Search has been integrated into several Samsung Galaxy and Pixel models. The adoption by brands like HONOR, Xiaomi, and Tecno suggests that other manufacturers such as OnePlus, Vivo, and OPPO might soon implement this feature. Additionally, Google is reportedly enhancing Circle to Search, with current abilities including barcode and QR code scanning, while a video search capability is in development.
