Furious Stone-Pelting Protest Erupts in UP’s Sheikhpura Over Profound Prophet Remarks: Dozens Face Legal Action
Tensions flared outside the Sheikhpura police post on October 6, as a peaceful protest against controversial remarks made by priest Narsinghanand Saraswati about Prophet Muhammad turned violent. The demonstration escalated when a faction of protestors began pelting stones at the police, leading local authorities to bolster security measures in the vicinity.
