In an exciting development for its Copilot Plus PC platform, Microsoft has announced several new artificial intelligence capabilities tailored for Windows on ARM. These features, aimed at enhancing user experience, include advanced image enhancement and generation tools in Paint and Photos, an upgraded Windows Search, and the innovative "Click to Do" feature.
The company highlighted the rollout of its Recall feature for select Copilot Plus PC users. Recall functions as a photographic memory, enabling users to revisit past activities with a secured timeline of events. Enhanced security requires Windows Hello authentication and includes a sensitive information filter.
Moreover, native apps for Windows on ARM are expanding, with upcoming releases like Vegas Pro, Fantastical, Sketchbook Pro, Arc Browser, and Google Drive. VPN apps have also joined the platform, including ExpressVPN, Private Internet Access, Surfshark, Windscribe, and soon, NordVPN.
The noteworthy "Click to Do" feature provides contextual overlay options like Visual Search with Bing and text rewriting, while the improved Windows Search allows users to locate files by describing their content.
