Truck Full of Cold Drinks Hijacked in Assam’s Tinsukia: Police Detain Suspects
Tinsukia, Sep 27, 2024, 2:56 PM: In a startling incident that has jolted Tinsukia, a truck loaded with cold drinks was hijacked on Thursday afternoon in the Sripuria area. The incident took place around 12:30 PM when a group of youths, armed with sticks and sharp weapons, forcibly seized control of the truck along with its driver.
Tinsukia police have acted promptly, detaining two suspects, identified as Girin Buragohain and Ghanshyam Rajbonshi, in relation to the hijacking. Another suspect, Tarun Gohain, remains at large and is actively being pursued by the authorities.
The shocking event has stirred the local community, and police investigations are ongoing to apprehend all involved parties.
