On August 9, 2026, the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Upper Shillong Circle elected a new team of office-bearers for the 2026–29 term at a meeting held at the VTC Hall, 6th Mile in Shillong.
The oath of office was administered to the newly elected executive by KSU Central Executive Council (CEC) president Raymond Kharjana.
Pynskhemlang Syiem was elected president, with Hopeful Born Lyngdoh Mawnai chosen as vice president. Nangshngain Lakiang and Wankit Kharumnuid were elected general secretary and assistant general secretary, respectively.
The newly sworn-in team will serve the Upper Shillong Circle for the 2026–29 tenure.
