Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC) in Guwahati has invited applications for two contractual posts-Lead Instructional Designer and Learning Designer-under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT)-sponsored Digital Learning Lab (DLL). Interested and eligible candidates must apply by June 12, 2026.
There is one vacancy for each post. The Lead Instructional Designer post carries a remuneration of Rs 1.8 lakh per month and the Learning Designer post carries Rs 1.2 lakh per month, both as specified by DoPT.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communication Design, Management, Social Work, Social Sciences, Mass Communication, Media Technology, Media Management, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
Experience requirements differ by post: the Lead Instructional Designer must have a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in instructional design, content structuring, and storyboard development for e-learning programmes; the Learning Designer must have at least three years’ experience in designing and developing digital learning experiences. Instructional design here refers to the systematic creation of learning materials and activities, including course structure, learning objectives, and visual/storyboard planning for digital delivery.
