A man from Sonapur was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Rudraksh Mall in Bhangagarh, Guwahati, and doctors at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital declared him dead on April 11, prompting a police investigation amid growing suspicion of foul play.
The deceased has been identified as Siddhanta Das, who had married just a month earlier. His sudden death has shocked family members and local residents, who have expressed disbelief and grief.
According to initial reports, Das was discovered in a critically injured condition after falling from the seventh to the fourth floor of the mall. He was rescued at the scene and taken to GMCH, where medical staff later pronounced him dead.
