Applications are now open for various project-based positions at Tripura University for the year 2025. The university is seeking eligible candidates for the role of Project Associate-I, supported by an ANRF-funded initiative under the guidance of Dr. Swapan Kr Biswas, an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry.
The position available is for one Project Associate-I. Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Chemical Science and have a keen interest in the chemistry-biology interface, particularly in the area of organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry applications, in accordance with DST norms. While prior experience in organic synthesis, including small molecules, heterocyclic compounds, and peptide synthesis is desirable, familiarity with purification and characterization methods, as well as medicinal chemistry research, is also preferred.
The fellowship for this role offers a stipend of ₹37,000 plus HRA for the initial two years as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), increasing to ₹42,000 plus HRA in the third year as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF), aligned with DST regulations.
