The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 concluded in an exhilarating finale at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, where Pakistan triumphed, claiming their sixth title-the most in the tournament’s history. In their final match, Pakistan showcased a stellar all-round performance, defeating debutants Kuwait by 43 runs. Batting first, Pakistan scored 135 runs for three wickets, largely thanks to Abdul Samad’s explosive 42 runs off just 13 balls and captain Abbas Afridi’s impressive 52 runs off 11 balls. Kuwait’s Meet Bhavsar also made a mark, taking three wickets in a standout bowling spell.

Despite the loss, Kuwait’s debut season was noteworthy, as they reached the final, demonstrating their talent against top international teams. Meanwhile, the host team, Hong Kong, did not disappoint their fans, clinching the Plate Final in a thrilling match against Bangladesh. Bangladesh set a target of 121 runs, led by captain Akbar Ali, who scored 51 off 13 balls. Chasing the total, Hong Kong required 30 runs from the final over, and captain Aizaz Khan delivered an electrifying finish, hitting five sixes to secure the win, finishing unbeaten on 85 runs off 21 balls.
In the Bowl Final, Sri Lanka capped off their tournament on a high note, defeating the UAE by 21 runs. Sachitha Jayathilake led the team with a rapid 52 runs off 13 balls, helping Sri Lanka achieve a total of 106 runs for two wickets in six overs. The UAE struggled in their response, managing only 85 runs for two wickets, thus handing Sri Lanka the Bowl championship.
