BSE small-cap company GRM Overseas announced that its board of directors will meet soon to consider a proposal for the declaration of bonus equity shares. The meeting is scheduled for November 13, 2025, during which the company will also review its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2025.
The stock opened the trading session positively at Rs 443.30, a slight increase from the previous close of Rs 443.25 on the BSE. It has been trading close to its 52-week high of Rs 446.55, while the 52-week low is Rs 175.95. However, the stock experienced volatility, recently trading lower at Rs 440.60, marking a decrease of 0.60% from the previous close, with the company’s market capitalization currently standing at Rs 2,703 crore.
Earlier this year, GRM Overseas made a strategic decision to appoint Bollywood actor Salman Khan as its brand ambassador for basmati rice and wheat flour. This move, endorsed by Managing Director Atul Garg, reflects the company’s confidence in Khan’s broad appeal and fan base, aligning with its 10X brand range of basmati rice and 10X Shakti range of wheat flour. Khan expressed his excitement about partnering with GRM, stating that the brand shares his values regarding quality and authenticity.
The partnership aims to leverage Khan’s iconic status to enhance GRM’s brand recognition and engage with consumers on a global scale. In contrast, the broader market experienced a downturn, with benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty dropping significantly in early trade due to persistent foreign fund outflows and negative trends in global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex fell by 631.93 points, reaching 82,679.08, while the 50-share NSE Nifty declined by 184.55 points to 25,325.15.
