Applications are now open for various teaching positions with the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Society in Assam for the year 2025. The society is looking for eligible candidates to fill contractual Guest Teacher roles. There are a total of seven vacancies: one for Science, one for Mathematics, four for Assamese, and one for Bodo.
The available positions are distributed across several schools: two positions at EMRS Kharadhara in Bajali district, one at EMRS Howraghat in Karbi Anglong district, one at EMRS Jalah in Baksa district, two at EMRS Ardaopur in Dima Hasao district, and one at EMRS Jonai in Dhemaji district.
To qualify for the Guest Teacher positions, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject(s) from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university or autonomous institute approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), and demonstrate proficiency in teaching in the English medium.
