Heartfelt Tributes: Bandmate’s Raw Emotions After Zubeen’s Passing
Partha Pratim Goswami, a close friend and longtime bandmate of the late singer Zubeen Garg, has accused both the artist’s manager, Siddharth Sharma, and fellow bandmate, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, of negligence that he claims contributed to Zubeen’s tragic passing in Singapore. In an emotional outpouring, Partha expressed his deep frustration over their handling of Zubeen’s health during their trip.
Partha alleged that the two men exhibited gross carelessness by taking Zubeen-who had not slept, had been consuming alcohol, and partying throughout the night-to the beach for a swim, despite being fully aware that he was a seizure patient. “The biggest negligence and carelessness were from Siddharth and Shekhar. You were always like Zubeen’s shadow, yet you took him to the sea,” he stated, his voice filled with sorrow and anger.
He further claimed that Zubeen was deprived of necessary rest and was taken out for fun rather than considering his fragile health. Partha condemned their actions, saying, “You didn’t let him sleep and still took him to the sea because you wanted to have fun. Because of this foolish mistake, Zubeen is no more.”
Visibly distraught, Partha vowed that he would never forgive those he holds responsible for what he called an avoidable and reckless act. “Till I die, I will never forgive them for this stupid mistake,” he asserted.
