Hima Das’s Heartfelt Letter: An Emotional Journey of Inspiration
Among the millions of fans of Zubin Garg, Hima Das is one of the most prominent. She previously showcased her admiration for Garg through the Olympic phrase “Mon Jai,” demonstrating how much she valued him. Hima Das has learned to be fearless and outspoken, much like Zubin Garg.
Following Garg’s passing, his fans have mourned deeply. Many have taken to social media to express their heartfelt emotions, and Hima Das recently shared her own feelings through a touching letter.
In the letter, Hima Das wrote, “One day, I received a sudden phone call. Before I could say anything, I heard three words from the other side. Words I never thought I would hear in my lifetime.”
“Dada, where have you gone? Is there any song less than mine before you? Whenever I hear ‘Mon Jai’, I think about whom to call? And if I like the clothes you wore, from whom can I borrow them?”
“Dada, I feel completely lost. It seems like everything ended in an instant, and everything around me has gone silent. My shadow has vanished from beside me.”
“I still can’t comprehend what to do or how to express what you meant to me. Since the day I met you, you became a living god for me. You taught me to make money and how to live meaningfully. How can I accept that you are no longer here? On that last day, as I opened my wardrobe to decide what to wear, I saw half of your clothes. My heart ached with grief. Dada, can you hear me? I am in so much pain.”
“I don’t even know how the past ten days passed. Today, I finally found the courage to write you something. You can’t go that far, Dada. I promise to keep you alive within me. I will never forget you. I swear I will uphold your legacy.”
“Dada, in the end… I will remember everything you said and move forward. In our last conversation, when you sent that photocopy, may you always bless me. From wherever you are, give me the strength and love. I will cherish every moment spent with you in my heart. Whatever you are now, may you stay well. Otherwise, how will I muster the words to reach you with ‘Mon Jai’?”
