Two individuals from Khliehriat in the East Jaintia Hills district have been sentenced to prison under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act for separate offenses involving minors. A police statement issued on Tuesday revealed that a case was registered at the Khliehriat Women Police Station, leading to an investigation by Inspector O. Tyngkan. The investigation was thorough, culminating in a charge sheet dated October 6, 2021.
The Special Judge for Pocso in East Jaintia Hills, Smti. B.
