A troubling incident has emerged from Tinsukia district in Assam, where a woman allegedly attacked her husband with a sharp weapon during a visit to see their son. This disturbing event took place on Wednesday, and a video capturing the attack has since gone viral on social media, drawing significant attention and concern.
Sanjay Bhattacharjee, the victim, was able to record a video shortly after the alleged assault by his wife, Madhuchaya Chakraborty. In the footage, Sanjay states that Madhuchaya attacked him from behind, targeting his neck with a sharp object while he was visiting their son.
Following the incident, reports indicate that Sanjay was admitted to a private hospital in Dibrugarh, where he remains in critical condition. Madhuchaya has reportedly been living in Tinsukia with their son for the past month. Sanjay described the moment of the attack, explaining that he was playing with his son when his wife unexpectedly struck him.
Expressing his intentions to take legal action, Sanjay stated, “Today, I will file an FIR against her at the Dibrugarh police station. My wife has been living separately with our son for the last year and a half. I don’t know what has come over her.” The situation continues to unfold as authorities and the community respond to the shocking incident.
