MPs Stand Against Pakistan’s Global Terror Export Network
In a significant diplomatic initiative, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contemplating the dispatch of multi-party delegations of Members of Parliament (MPs) to key world capitals. The aim is to unveil Pakistan’s involvement in the recent Pahalgam terror attack and foster global support against cross-border terrorism. These delegations are expected to reshape the narrative by directly presenting evidence and India’s position to foreign governments and institutions. Sources indicate that the development comes in response to rising efforts by Pakistan and comments from US President Donald Trump to internationalize the Kashmir issue, which India insists should remain a bilateral concern.
If approved, this initiative would mark a historic first, as it would involve the Modi administration sending elected representatives from various political parties as diplomatic envoys to counteract Pakistan’s global propaganda. The delegations will have a dual focus: to inform nations about the tragic Pahalgam attack, where 26 lives were lost, and to clarify that India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ specifically aimed at terror infrastructure rather than civilians in regions occupied by Pakistan.
“The objective is to dismantle the narrative being constructed by Pakistan and its supporters,” stated a senior official involved in the planning. The Ministry of External Affairs, along with intelligence and defense agencies, is currently preparing detailed dossiers and talking points to aid the MPs. Indian embassies will play a crucial role in supporting these efforts by organizing meetings and facilitating strategic groundwork.
The MPs will highlight how Pakistan has long employed terrorism as an instrument of state policy to undermine India, supported by intelligence regarding terror camps, recruitment networks, and the involvement of the ISI. Furthermore, the delegations will emphasize that Pakistan’s responses following ‘Operation Sindoor’ only serve to confirm its role in harboring and promoting terror groups.
This diplomatic surge aims to not only further isolate Pakistan on the global stage but also bolster India’s position ahead of crucial international meetings and bilateral talks.
