Veteran race participants from teams like Mahakali and Shershah, both boasting multiple victories in past adventure races, shared stories of their arduous yet rewarding journeys to Mechuka. They praised the town’s allure, noting its unique position on the Indo-China border as a place rich with history and spectacular natural beauty.

He believes that hosting such international adventure events will shine a global spotlight on the region. Sona expressed particular pride in India Today’s recent accolade, naming Mechuka the “Best Mountain Destination,” a title that underscores its growing reputation as a premier eco-adventure locale.
