Embracing Digital Dawn: Keyi Panyor Suvidha Reignites Efficient Governance
Arunachal Pradesh’s Keyi Panyor District Takes a Leap into Digital Governance with WhatsApp-Based Service Platform
In a significant step towards making governance more citizen-centric and accessible, Keyi Panyor District in Arunachal Pradesh has launched ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha’, a WhatsApp-based service platform. The innovative initiative aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and provide seamless access to essential government services directly from the comfort of citizens’ mobile phones.
The joint effort by the District Administration and District Police was unveiled in the presence of key dignitaries, including the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Circle Officer, ZPC, ZPM, and heads of departments. Through this platform, citizens can now avail various services such as Police Character Certificate, Police NOC for Tender, Birth Certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) Certificate, Inner Line Permit, Income Certificate, and many more.
Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta (IAS) emphasized the importance of digital interventions in streamlining public service delivery. “This initiative will make governance more citizen-centric, reducing the need for people to make multiple visits to the DC office for basic services. It marks a shift towards a more transparent and efficient administration,” she said. Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta (IPS) highlighted the transformative role of technology in governance, particularly in a newly formed district like Keyi Panyor. “The district is facing several administrative challenges in its initial phase, and digital solutions like this will play a crucial role in ensuring quick and efficient service delivery,” he added.
The WhatsApp-based service is expected to significantly reduce paperwork, expedite administrative processes, and enhance transparency. Citizens can simply send a message saying “Hi” to 9405456923 to access various government services without the need for physical visits to government offices. District authorities have urged all residents to take full advantage of this platform, which represents a significant step towards making governance more inclusive, efficient, and accessible for all.
For further information, residents can reach out to the official WhatsApp number provided by the administration. The launch of ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha’ is a commendable effort to bridge the gap between citizens and government services, and it will be interesting to see how this innovative approach transforms the way governance is delivered in the region.
