National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala Tripura is seeking talented individuals for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on a research project funded by IIT Guwahati. The project, titled "Underwater Image Classification using Ensemble Learning Models," aims to design and develop innovative algorithms for underwater image classification.
The National Institute of Technology Agartala Tripura is inviting applications from eligible candidates with a postgraduate degree in basic science or a professional course, such as computer science and engineering. The selected candidate will be expected to assist in research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI).
The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs. 37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA). The research activities will involve designing and developing ensemble learning models for underwater image classification, preparing high-quality documentation, and presenting the results.
To be eligible, candidates must have a postgraduate degree in basic science or a professional course, such as computer science and engineering, with a good academic record. Relevant research experience or publications will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in computer science and engineering, with a focus on artificial intelligence, computer vision, or acoustic communication.
The selection process will consist of a walk-in-interview on March 21, 2025, at the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, Jirania, Tripura, India, starting at 10:00 AM.
