Nepal, India, and China Experience Powerful Earthquake Tremors
In the early hours of Thursday, earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal, India, and China, sending shockwaves across the region. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Kodari, Nepal, at 2:36 AM local time, just 14 kilometers from the border with India.
The tremors were felt as far as Siliguri, Darbhanga, and other Indian cities, with social media users confirming the event. "Just felt quite intriguing #earthquake at 2:38 AM (Bihar, India )" posted one user on X. "Just had one of the craziest earthquakes," another from Kolkata added.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was felt in the following areas:

• Patna, Bihar
