The lottery operations are planned and supervised by the Director of Nagaland State Lotteries, headquartered at P. R. Hill Junction, Kohima.
Winners of the lottery need to follow specific procedures to claim their prizes. They must submit the original lottery ticket, which should be intact and untampered, accompanied by a claim form, government-approved photo ID, and passport-sized photographs. A prize claim of up to ₹10,000 can be settled by distributors. However, claims over ₹10,000 must be submitted to the Director, Government of Nagaland, within 30 days, with payments processed within 60 days.
