Simple Energy Enhances Simple ONE Scooter with Gen 1.5 Update
Simple Energy has announced the launch of the Simple ONE Gen 1.5, marking a significant upgrade to its flagship electric scooter. The latest model now boasts an impressive range of 248 kilometers under IDC conditions, surpassing the previous version’s 212 kilometers and establishing it as India’s longest-range electric two-wheeler.
In addition to the extended range, the Gen 1.5 update brings a suite of new software features aimed at enhancing the riding experience. These include App Integration, Navigation, Updated Ride Modes, Park Assist, OTA Updates, Regenerative Braking, Trip History, Customizable Dash Themes, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The scooter retains its rapid acceleration capability, going from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.77 seconds, and offers a spacious 30+ liter under-seat storage.
The Gen 1.5 model is available at Simple Energy showrooms without any increase in its price, remaining competitively priced at ₹1,66,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) including a 750W charger. For existing owners, the new features will be accessible through software updates, ensuring they benefit from the latest advancements.

The inclusion of park assist simplifies maneuvering in confined spaces, further exemplifying the scooter’s user-friendly design.
