Triumphant Glory at the 38th National Games: Khinsan Wangsu Strikes Gold, Dada Makes Historic Kayaking Victory!
ITANAGAR, 7 Feb: In a remarkable performance at the 38th National Games, Khinsan Wangsu of Arunachal Pradesh clinched a gold medal in taekwondo’s individual Poomsae event on Thursday. Building on her past success, Wangsu previously secured a gold medal in group Poomsae during the last National Games held in Goa.
Adding to the state’s achievements, Miching Taja and Rikpy Nyodu earned a silver medal in pair Poomsae on Friday. This marks an improvement from their bronze medal victory at the 37th National Games in Goa.
In a historic accomplishment for Arunachal Pradesh, Devi Dada won a bronze medal in the kayak cross event, making her the first individual from the state to medal in kayaking at the National Games.
Overall, Arunachal Pradesh’s athletes have delivered an impressive performance, amassing a total of three gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals at the Games so far.
