Sunil Kumar Singh, responsible for billing at Swaraj Ashram, reports daily sales of Khadi products ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh, suggesting that demand is so high that supply can’t keep up. He highlights the growing appeal of Khadi among the youth and its role in boosting employment opportunities.
Dinesh Kumar Chaudhary from Khadi Gram Udyog in Dimapur, Nagaland, noted that this year they are the sole representatives from the Northeast participating in the Maha Kumbh. He expressed pride in showcasing the craftsmanship of Dimapur artisans in Prayagraj, receiving positive feedback. The event has provided a significant platform for Khadi Gramudyog to shine, underscoring the successful arrangements and overwhelming response from visitors.
