World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo 2023 Triumphs in Dehradun: Over 12,000 Enthusiastic Delegates Unite for the 10th Edition
The tenth edition of the World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo concluded today in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, marking a landmark event in the field of traditional medicine. This prestigious gathering attracted a record 12,000 delegates, underscoring its growing significance on the global stage. Notably, representatives from 54 countries participated, including 300 international delegates, who expressed their appreciation for the advancements in AYUSH—a system of traditional Indian medicine.
The event was previously held in Goa, where it saw 5,102 delegates in attendance. This year’s Congress, being the largest so far, highlighted the rich potential for Ayurveda and traditional medicine to foster global health dialogues and collaborations.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his gratitude to the participants from around the globe for making the event a resounding success. He emphasized that the discussions held over the four-day conference in Ayush Bhoomi, Uttarakhand, would yield significant long-term benefits, enhancing the state’s reputation as a center for Ayurvedic practice and learning.
