Unforgettable Spectacle: Awe-Inspiring Eastern Naval Command Navy Day Operation Demo at Puri, Odisha 2023

The Eastern Naval Command is set to conduct its annual Operational Demonstration, OpDemo2024, as part of Navy Day celebrations at Blue Flag Beach, Puri, Odisha. This event, symbolizing the connection between the Indian Navy and Odisha’s maritime heritage, will feature President Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest. It aims to showcase the Navy’s maritime capabilities and operational strength while enhancing public maritime awareness. The demonstration will be held in collaboration with the Odisha government and local authorities to ensure seamless execution, with seating arrangements for spectators and live broadcasts on national television and the Indian Navy’s YouTube channel. In preparation, Commodore B. Deepak Aneel discussed arrangements with Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar and addressed recent humanitarian operations and future coastal security exercises.
