Stunning Revelation: Himanta Biswa Sarma Declares Crushing Defeat for Congress-JMM in Upcoming State Elections
Assam Chief Minister and BJP’s co-incharge for Jharkhand state elections, Himanta Biswa Sarma, has asserted that leaders from Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) have acknowledged their impending defeat in the upcoming polls. Sarma claims these leaders have admitted their lack of confidence in securing a victory.
He pointed to the language used by Jharkhand Chief Minister and Congress-JMM leaders during rallies as evidence of their nervousness, adding that they have all but admitted defeat. Sarma also stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is fully satisfied with the election process and has no issues with the role of the Election Commission, state government, or central government in the electoral proceedings.
In a significant boost to the BJP’s campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jharkhand on November 10. This follows PM Modi’s recent rallies in Chaibasa and Garhwa, which drew considerable crowds and underscored the BJP’s strong presence in the region. Sarma highlighted the importance of the Prime Minister’s visit, characterizing the recent gatherings as historical and indicative of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and BJP’s potential to form the government.
Sarma also detailed plans for PM Modi’s upcoming visit, which may include public meetings in Bokaro and Ranchi, with the possibility of a roadshow in Ranchi. The BJP remains optimistic, buoyed by the enthusiastic response from the rallies and rallies’ promise to fortify their position ahead of the elections.
