Remarkable Relief: Dengue Cases Plunge in Lucknow to Just 9 New Infections
In a recent development in Lucknow, the number of dengue cases has shown a decline, with only nine new cases reported on Monday, bringing the total count to 2,120 since January. The Chandarnagar community health center reported the highest number of cases at five, followed by Aishbagh with two, and one each from Redcross and Aliganj.
To address the ongoing vector-borne disease issues, health officials have conducted surveys across approximately 1,473 households and nearby areas. These efforts led to the identification of mosquito breeding conditions in six homes, prompting the issuance of notices to the residents. Chief Medical Officer Dr. NB Singh advised the public to adopt mosquito repellent measures to safeguard against dengue and other vector-borne diseases.
This proactive approach aims to curb the spread of infections and ensure public safety, emphasizing the importance of community participation and adherence to health advisories to effectively tackle the issue.
