Breaking News: APCC Proudly Appoints Visionary Abdul Khaleque as Dynamic Chairman of Congress Darpan Editorial Board

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has established a new editorial board for its publication, Congress Darpan. The board is led by former Member of Parliament (MP) Abdul Khaleque and consists of 13 members. Notable figures include former MLA Hiranya Borah and former MP Bishnu Prasad, who will serve as advisers. Additionally, MLA Sibamoni Borah and APCC’s media chairman Bedabrata Bora join as members. Other key participants include Mehdi Alam Borah, co-chairman of the media department; Bipul Gogoi, the organizational general secretary; Ratul Kalita, social media chairman; Rhituparna Konwar, a senior spokesperson; Netra Ranjan Choudhury, head of the research department; and senior spokespeople Prabeen Boro, Bidisha Neog, and Prafulla Kumar Das. The revamped editorial board aims to enhance the party’s communication through Congress Darpan.

Also noteworthy in local news, East Guwahati Police recently apprehended 20-year-old Abu Firdaus Raji for the theft of a two-wheeler.
