Exciting New Horizons: Experience the Joy of the Dibrugarh-Bengaluru IndiGo Flight
IndiGo Airlines has launched a new flight service connecting Dibrugarh in Assam and Bengaluru, with a stopover in Agartala, significantly enhancing air connectivity in the Northeast region. The service will operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight 6E 524 will depart Bengaluru at 9:45 am and arrive in Dibrugarh at 2:20 pm, while the return journey, Flight 6E 525, will leave Dibrugarh at 3:00 pm, reaching Bengaluru at 7:55 pm.
This new route is a boon for residents of Upper Assam, who can now fly directly to Bengaluru without the need to travel to Guwahati for a connecting flight. Additionally, this service benefits people from Arunachal Pradesh regions like Changlang, Namsai, Lohit, Anjaw, Kurung Kumey, Longding, Tirap, and Lower Dibang Valley, making air travel more accessible. Even for those in Nagaland’s Mon, Mokokchung, and Wokha districts, Dibrugarh is now a convenient travel hub.
Bengaluru is a major destination for tourists, students, and professionals from the Northeast, given its status as a high-tech and educational hub. The new flight route is expected to make travel more efficient, affordable, and less time-consuming for those heading to Bengaluru for study or work. This direct connectivity marks a significant improvement in regional transportation infrastructure, encouraging economic and cultural exchanges between the Northeast and the rest of India.
