The Nagaland State Lottery features daily draws with three sessions: morning, day, and evening. Each draw is associated with a unique name and prize structure, with a maximum prize of Rs 1 crore, inclusive of the Super Prize. Popularly, these draws are known as Dear Morning, Dear Day, and Dear Evening, and tickets are priced at Rs 6 each. The lotteries are meticulously coordinated by the Director of Nagaland State Lotteries and are conducted daily at P. R. Hill Junction, Kohima.

For winners to claim their prize, a specified procedure must be followed:

• Present the original, undamaged winning ticket.
• Submit a duly filled lottery claim form along with a government-approved photo ID and passport-sized photos.
• Claims for prizes above Rs 10,000 must be submitted to the Director, Government of Nagaland, or the respective state Nodal Office within 30 days of the draw. The prize winner needs to sign the original ticket when submitting claims exceeding Rs 10,000.

The Nagaland State Government authorizes a distributor to pay prizes up to Rs 10,000 directly. Payment for larger prizes is made within 60 days once the formal claim process is completed.
