Meanwhile, Singapore-headquartered Sea Ltd, which operates Shopee and Garena, experienced target price hikes from ten analysts. Despite a stunning 144.35% rally this year, the median price target suggests the stock is fairly valued. Analysts remain cautiously optimistic, focusing on Sea’s long-term growth potential, despite short-term challenges from competitive pressures. Phillip Capital notes the company’s need to sustain high sales and marketing expenses to retain market share.
Barrick Gold, the Canada-listed miner, also received increased analyst targets from ten professionals. Among 17 analysts, the median price target implies an 18% potential upside. The company, however, faced disappointing reactions to its earnings pre-release, hinting at possible struggles in meeting its sales and cost projections. Barrick’s performance remains closely tied to gold and, to some extent, copper prices.
