During the meeting, municipal commissioners and executive officers updated on dengue control efforts, with a directive to promptly address waterlogged and high-risk zones. AK Sharma called for extensive public awareness efforts to ensure citizens remain informed and healthy, contributing to a dengue-free environment. Key officials, including Director of Urban Local Bodies Anuj Kumar Jha and Joint Director of the Health Department Dr. Pankaj Kumar, attended the meeting virtually.
In a related move, the Chief Medical Officer in Lucknow issued a circular inviting presidents and office-bearers of Resident Welfare Associations to a sensitization meeting on Friday.
