In June, a dialogue at the G7 Summit with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy saw Modi pledge humanitarian support and emphasize dialogue. His August visit to Kyiv further solidified this stance, where he expressed a willingness to assist Ukraine as a friend amidst its tumultuous relations with Russia. This initiative signals India’s commitment to playing an active role in global peacekeeping efforts.
